Mode Kitchen & Bar in Sydney’s CBD strikes the perfect balance between casual bistro and fine dining. A welcoming restaurant setting with a touch of glamour; friendly service with polish; and an uncomplicated menu which embodies great cooking and delicious flavours. 

We celebrate technique in the kitchen, craftsmanship on the table and produce on the plate. Every dish has its own story to tell – from the origin of a local ingredient and its producer, to a special technique applied in the kitchen, and even to the plate itself.

Enjoy an interactive dining experience overlooking our open kitchen, seated at our exclusive Chef’s Table. Watch Head Restaurant Chef and team create your dishes and bring them to the table.

Tasting Table

Up to 12 guests

Dine among the action at our custom-designed Tasting Table positioned between the lively open kitchen and the dessert kitchen, by our roaring wood-fire oven. Enjoy swift service from our team while you witness your desserts being created by our chefs.

Semi-Private Dining Room

10 – 76 guests

Celebrate in style with exclusive use of our flexible semi-private dining rooms, tucked into one side of the restaurant. Choose to host your event in either one of the dining rooms, or combine them to create one larger space. Rooms can be furnished in a variety of configurations.

This room is also suited for presentations - ask our team about passing your referral to our partnered AV Company in the hotel for the hiring of equipment. Note, microphones are not available unless the restaurant is hired out exclusively.
